Austin Horton bags $3,000 with Crate Racin' USA at Dixie Speedway

Prepping for Dixie Speedway return on Saturday with Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals

WOODSTOCK, Ga. (4/30/24) – Austin Horton put on an impressive display of driving on Saturday night aboard the Brandon Duke Racing / Wood Motorsports No. 01 Bobby Thomas Race Engines Late Model and captured the $3,000 Rogers-Dabbs Crate Racin’ USA victory at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway.

The Whitesburg, Ga., native zipped ahead of Lucas Ruark on the drop of the green flag and dominated 40-lap feature to claim his second win of the season in only four starts.

“I really have to thank Brandon Duke and his family for all they do for me. We haven’t got to race much this year, but when we have we’ve definitely came prepared and the results have shown.” Horton said. “I am really looking forward to this coming weekend to return to my personal stuff and represent all my loyal supporters on the 16.”

Behind the wheel of the Brandon Duke-owned No. 01, Austin Horton joined 25 Crate Racin' USA entries at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.) for a $3,000-to-win event.

Laying down the second-quickest lap in qualifying, Horton lined up on the outside pole of the 40-lap feature before grabbing the top spot on the opening lap and leading flag-to-flag to score his second victory of the season. Austin outran Tyler Millwood and Cody Overton to score a $3,000 payday.
